Are you walking in the fullness of your calling in Christ?
We’re spending nine weeks pursuing the Father’s heart on this theme, The Call of God. We’ve already had two sessions the past two weeks. By the end of the nine weeks, I am confident that each person will be walking in greater clarity and confidence concerning the call of God upon their lives.
A portion of the lyrics from Jesus, Lover of My Soul is appropriate to share here:
It’s all about you, Jesus,
And all this is for you, for your glory and your fame,
It’s not about me, as if you should do things my way,
You alone are God, and I surrender to your ways.
These were the very words that my wife had sung as she walked down the aisle on our wedding day. These lyrics sum up biblically how we ought to respond to the call of God.
God’s call is not about us. This is about Jesus. Honoring him with every breath we are given on this earth so that we can faithfully respond to the words of the Apostle Paul, as penned in Ephesians 4:1, “As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.”
If you so feel led of the Lord to join us for this journey, I want to extend a personal invite to join us each Wednesday. I will teach in a private group, Brian Francis Hume, on Facebook Live that can be watched later once it’s archived. It starts at 9pm EST (8 CST, 7 MST, 6 PST).
The first session lasted roughly 45 minutes as I taught followed by ministry to few afterwards. The second session involved a shorter teaching in order to minister prophetically to each person on the call, which went on for three hours. Each week will be different as we obey the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
It would be an honor to have you join us if the Lord so calls you to be a part of this journey
